With humble beginnings in 2008 as a technical production company, AKJOHNSTON Group has quickly become the 'go-to' for events and marketing campaigns. With a vast range of designs, production, and management capabilities all housed in our 37,000 square foot creative studio, our team is equipped to handle any scale project.
With the introduction of our custom fabrication department in 2013, we focus on building world-class experiences from the ground up. From the conventional trade-show booth to pop-up stores, and mobile tours - we are where story meets experience.

HOW WE DO WHAT WE DO.
The AKJOHNSTON team starts the design process with a group brainstorm inclusive of all departments. Intertwining a conceptual and logistical mindset, the creative team narrows down and brings the results of the brainstorm to life through renderings and a design deck.
Our fabrication team dissects these renderings into build drawings of tangible nature. They work their magic in the shop to bring the renderings to life as close to what has been presented as possible being mindful of seams, hardware, and all the small details.
Once the builds are completed, the production team handles all execution of each element. Our ultimate goal is for the rendering and the real-life image to look exactly the same and we are proud to showcase how our team works together to achieve this goal.
