Reporting to the Director of Production and collaborating closely with Creative and Client teams, this hands-on leader manages all project details, budgets, and delivery across multiple programs, including developing timelines, overseeing vendors, and ensuring budget and creative alignment. They are essential for onsite logistics and team management, acting as the calm center during execution. This role requires both operational excellence and creative problem-solving, involving mentoring junior staff, safeguarding processes, and upholding AKJ's production standards, all while maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure every project is delivered with the signature AKJ precision, accountability, and energy.

The Producer is the operational engine behind AKJOHNSTON’s experiential activations, responsible for the seamless execution of projects from initial RFP through to onsite delivery. Reporting to the Director of Production, this role manages the intricate logistics of live events, premieres, and convention builds, ensuring every detail aligns with the client’s vision and AKJ’s high production standards. They are responsible for developing rigorous timelines, managing project budgets and profitability, and overseeing vendor negotiations and contracts. As a primary point of contact for clients and a leader of onsite teams, the Producer maintains accountability and clear communication throughout the production lifecycle. Combining logistical precision with creative problem-solving, they ensure that every program is executed with the reliability, energy, and excellence that defines the AKJ brand.

The Project Delivery Director serves as the operational nucleus of AKJOHNSTON’s fabrication department, providing the high-level oversight and strategic planning necessary to execute complex themed entertainment and immersive event-based projects. Acting as the bridge between initial concept and final installation, this leader is responsible for project estimation, timeline mapping, and managing shop bandwidth to ensure every build meets AKJ’s exacting quality standards. They oversee the entire production pipeline, conducting daily check-ins with department managers and project managers to identify challenges and troubleshoot solutions in real-time. By managing detailed project estimates, resource allocations, and vendor relationships, the Project Delivery Director ensures operational excellence and financial accountability across multiple programs. A key executive figure in client meetings and job walks, they provide the leadership and technical expertise required to transform ambitious creative visions into tangible, flawlessly executed realities
